OMverse at GBIC 2026 | Connecting Technology - Expanding Global Growth Opportunities

As part of the Global Business and Innovation Connection Program (GBIC 2026) led by the ietnam National Innovation Center, Ms. Vũ Kim Oanh - Chairwoman of OMverse Group - participated in a series of networking and working sessions in the United States with leading technology corporations and organizations, notably Meta, NVIDIA, and several semiconductor companies.

At Meta, the delegation explored new technologies such as the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses integrated with AI, and learned about the ViGen project - an initiative to develop open-source Vietnamese language datasets aimed at enhancing Vietnam’s AI capabilities..

During the working session with NVIDIA, the parties discussed strategies for developing the AI and semiconductor ecosystem, focusing on talent training, technology transfer, and leveraging advanced computing infrastructure.

The delegation also connected with SEMI - the global semiconductor industry association - opening up opportunities for collaboration in supply chain development, investment attraction, and the advancement of high-quality human resources for Vietnam’s semiconductor industry.

At the Vietnam-U.S. Innovation and Investment Forum within the framework of APEX EXPO 2026, in coordination with the Global Electronics Association, the parties strengthened strategic connections in key sectors such as AI, semiconductors, smart manufacturing, and energy. Notably, networking activities with the Vietnamese expert community in Silicon Valley expanded collaboration opportunities between Vietnam and the global knowledge community in strategic technology fields.
